LINKS Advocates work with parents to increase their ability and confidence in advocating for their children. LINKS Advocates can answer questions over the phone, or meet with parents face-to-face.

A few resources to start with:

Wrightslaw – An extensive resource for parent rights, Special Education procedures, and Frequently Asked Questions.

Disability Law Center of Alaska – LINKS helps parents with advocacy, but we are not special education lawyers. If your concerns are legal in nature, Disability Law Center of Alaska might be able to help.
