SEAC is the Special Education Advisory Committee. SEAC will be made up of 4-8 parents with children in the Mat-Su District and 1 interested professional who is an employee with the district. SEAC’s goals will be

  1. Gather information from parents and community members on topics to pursue
  2. Narrow down the yearly focus points to 3 or less
  3. Interview, research, generate reports, and present information gathered to the community and school district
  4. Act in an advisory capacity for the district on policy/procedure changes

Meetings will be on the fourth Thursday of every month as well as there will be web meetings as needed.
