SEAC is the Special Education Advisory Committee. SEAC will be made up of 4-8 parents with children in the Mat-Su District and 1 interested professional who is an employee with the district. SEAC’s goals will be
- Gather information from parents and community members on topics to pursue
- Narrow down the yearly focus points to 3 or less
- Interview, research, generate reports, and present information gathered to the community and school district
- Act in an advisory capacity for the district on policy/procedure changes
Meetings will be on the fourth Thursday of every month as well as there will be web meetings as needed.
